Monarch Crest IMBA Epic MTB Ride

This is a classic, top 3 Colorado ride. 36 miles with 6,000 ft of total vertical descent. We shuttle to the top of Monarch Pass and ride down into town.

We will pass through several distinct ecological zones as we descend. You'll experience high alpine meadows, dense forest, and seemingly endless views with incredible single track.

This is an intermediate ride and you must be in good physical condition for this ride to be fun. You also need good endurance since we're riding at high elevation.

The trail is long but not very technical. Good bike handling skills are still a must.

The weather can be dramatic at high elevations so BE PREPARED for all conditions. You must bring essentials to support yourself and any needed trail repairs. Many riders carry tools but don't rely on others.
