Looking to sharpen your aim, get outdoors, and connect with fellow archery enthusiasts? Join us for a laid-back archery session at the outdoor range in Bear Creek Lake Park.

This range offers distances from 10 to 100 yards, making it perfect whether you’re dialing in fundamentals or stretching out your shots.

What to Expect:
Casual, self-paced shooting
Opportunity to connect with other archers
A solid outdoor setting with a well-maintained range

What to Bring:

  • Your own bow and arrows (recurve or compound both welcome)
  • Water, sunscreen, and anything else you need for a few hours outdoors

I personally shoot a recurve bow, and I’ll have one spare bow and arrows available if someone wants to try it out.

Park Entry: Bear Creek Lake Park requires either:

  • Annual vehicle pass, or
  • Daily vehicle pass, or
  • Free entry on foot or bike

I have an annual pass and can pick up a few people at a nearby park-and-ride to help you get into the park; coordinate with me ahead of time if you want a ride.

The archery range is free to use once inside the park.

Safety First (Non-Negotiable):

  • You must already know how to safely operate a bow
  • All participants are expected to follow range rules at all times
  • This is not a beginner lesson—this is a shared shooting session

If you enjoy archery, being outside, and meeting good people, this is your kind of event.

Let’s send some arrows. 🎯
