The North Fork Trail in Colorado is generally considered moderately challenging for mountain biking. It features a rolling climb with some elevation gain-about 978 feet up and down over 9.6 miles of mostly singletrack terrain, with a few sections of doubletrack. The trail is described as having a smooth grade, minimal rocks or roots, and only a handful of switchbacks, making it accessible to fit beginners while still offering a good workout for more experienced riders. Some segments can be steep and tricky, especially if you tackle connecting routes or loops, where grades can exceed 30% in short stretches. Overall, it offers a mix of moderate climbs, scenic views, and mostly non-technical riding, making it suitable for riders with some mountain biking experience but not overly daunting for those in good shape.

It looks like there is parking at the trailhead, but if not, you may need to park at a different location farther down the road, depending on crowds.
