Centinnial Cone Out and Back from Mayhem Gulch

Details

Calling all Coneheads!

18.5 miles and 2900 feet of climbing. Since Elk Range is closed this time of year, we will do this as an out-and-back from the Mayhem Gulch Parking Lot to the top of Centennial Cone. Mayhem Gulch>Juniper>Travois and back. This is arguably one of the most beautiful rides in the Front Range since you are riding in both dense forest and open areas that include incredible vistas. It's rocky but not all that technical, except around the Cone itself. This is a solid intermediate ride, based on distance and the amount of climbing. Since it is an out-and-back, you can tackle all of it or some of it, depending on how you are feeling. E-MTB Allowed.
