SINK's & DINK's Beach & SUP day
Details
Calling all sun-chasers, water loungers, and paddleboarders…
We’re taking Thursday for a laid-back beach + SUP day at Bear Creek Lake State Park - Soda Lake Beach. Think: toes in the sand, music in the background, and that perfect “no plans, just vibes” kind of afternoon.
I know this time is not ideal for everyone but the weekends get super crowded. Carpool or bike from the Phillips 66 parking lot on the corner of Morrison Rd and C470 so the park fee can be split and it helps with parking.
Details:
- ⏰ Starts around 2:30 PM and rolls until whenever
- 🌤 Weather backup plan: we’ll reschedule if Mother Nature gets moody
- 🛶 Paddleboards + kayaks available to rent on-site (or bring your own!)
- I'll have a White canopy with the SINK Denver Sign
What to bring:
*Towel + swimsuit
- Snacks or food (picnic style is the move)
*Drinks + a cooler 🧊 - Chair and/or blanket
*Sunscreen - Good energy
it does cost to get into the state park. you can ride your bike in for free or if you want to share rides, there is a parking lot at the phillips 66 on Morrison rd and 470 where you can park your car.
I’ll be hanging out for a few hours, so come through whenever works for you. Whether you want to paddle, float, or just post up on the beach and chat.
Quick note: Dogs are welcome at the park, but not allowed in the water.
More SUP days are definitely on deck this summer 🌊
Come hang. No pressure, no agenda, just a solid crew and a lake day done right.
*Will reschedule if weather is bad
