SUP in Lakewood

Let’s meet at Bear Creek Lake park to paddle board and hang out at Soda Lake. Kayakers and pretty much anyone can join.

It’s $15 per vehicle to get in. Life vests are required in the state of Colorado. You don’t have to be wearing it, but you have to have it on your board.
I’m hoping to launch from the left of the rental place coming from the overflow parking that is left of the lake, when facing the water I will post my exact location when I get there.
The 2 closest parking lots can fill up early. Last time, people were forced to park in overflow parking. There is a path close to the overflow parking lot that is to the left of the lake, so you wont have to carry your board far. People can launch from there and paddle to meet the group. There is also overflow parking to the right of the lake.

The swim beach wont yet be opened. I dont think the rental ace will be either.
I dont know much about renting because i own my board. When the rental place is open, they include a life vest.

Maybe we can head into Morrison, for food and drinks, afterwards.
