Welcome to Little Rishikesh, a place where various eastern spiritual practices are lived and encouraged. We sing, dance, meditate, drum AND we talk about stuff - like samskaras - those nasty annoying pre-cognitive habits and tendencies that seem to obstruct our peace and happiness. Technically speaking, a samskara is a deep subconscious imprint or conditioning—formed by past actions, experiences, and thoughts—that shapes one’s tendencies and behavior in the present.

Every Thursday we gather at 7 pm at our residence in Littleton for the purpose of examining and discussing the various things that seem to crop up and obstruct our spiritual progress. The evening begins with a little kirtan chanting and meditation to create a field of supportive energy and then we delve into the discussion. Using real life examples from participants, and through a developed path of enquiring steps and utilizing certain spiritual principles, we uncover, discover, and discard these pesky and unwanted emotional habits.

There is no set charge for this group. We function on donations as suits your means. We always have tea and snacks after. All are welcome. If the early kirtan/meditation is not your thing, the discussion usually starts about 8pm and it's perfectly ok to show up just for that. questions? text Tom at 303-435-3152 or visit our website littlerishikesh.org. namaste
