Littel Yampa 4-O-July weekend float

Details
The Little Yampa is one of Colorado's undiscovered river treasures. This float features a gentle swing through farmland during the first half, and then a wilder and deeper dive into the backcountry during the latter. Rapids will depend on the flow, but will never be more than class II. We'll put in at the state park west of Steamboat and glide down over about 60 miles and three river nights to a take-out near Maybell. The water will be low, the nights warm the stars aglow, and the campfires toasty. Honor America and honor you need for adventure at the same time. We will try for sand-bar camping every night.
Warning: Rivers demand attention, even at low flows. Everyone will need to be up and at-em on this one at all times.
Watercraft: we will have two oar rafts for gear: campfire wood, coolers, adult spirits, etc. You could be a passenger one one of the rafts, or float along in kayaks or canoes.
Fees: $100 for your share of the gear rafts, plus your fee for kayak or canoe rental if you don't own one, plus campground fees, plus your share of gas if you're a passenger, and your contributions to group dinners.
