Herman Lake 12,000' !

6.5 miles RT with 1,700' elevation gain.

Let's hike an old favorite and get out of the heat for a few hours. We'll take the Herman Gulch trail to the beautiful cirque that surrounds the lake. Take a break for snacks at the lake and then return on the same trail.

Please bring your pack, layers, fluids, snacks, and good footwear. I've read that there is some snow in a few spots still, but I don't think spikes will be that helpful. Maybe poles and gaiters if you're concerned about the snow. Don't forget your sun protection.

After, we can head to Yards Taphouse for refreshments/lunch. Food from Smokin' Yards.
