Hell's Hole Fall Colors !

8 miles RT with 1,900' elevation gain.

A pleasant trip into the heart of the scenic Mount Evans Wilderness using the solid Hell’s Hole trail for the out-and-back hike. We've used this TH in the past for Sugarloaf Peak. Hopefully, our timing will be right to see some of the colors change along the way. We can take a break at the meadow for a snack. We'll retrace our steps on the return.

Please bring your pack, layers, fluids, snacks, and good footwear. Sun protection is always a good idea.

After the hike, a visit to the Genesee Pub and BBQ would make for a nice way to round out the event.

Carpool from Wooly Mammoth Section GG at 7:00. Please comment if you can drive or would like a ride. The off pavement road to the TH is passable for all vehicles and there are vault toilets at the TH.
