We will be hiking a route that is a good one for winter conditions, close to town. North Table Mountain Loop. Around 7.5 miles roundtrip, and around 1,000 feet elevation gain. We will meet at the parking lot at the Tony Grampsas complex (it is a parking lot at the north end of Salvia Street in Golden) and then move clockwise around the loop. As many of you know, this route provides great views of the Front Range foothills and mountains and good views of the Denver skyline and the central portion of the metro area. The snow may or may not be melted by Sunday...so plan on bringing spikes. Poles are another good idea. As always, bring a hat, sufficient water, sunscreen, etc. for this hike.
