Morning Exploratory Loop Hike - Elk Meadow Park: Stagecoach Trailhead

Let’s explore the beautiful new Bobcat, Catamount, and Jenkins Peak trails at Elk Meadow Park! We will meet at the Stagecoach Trailhead.

NOTE: ‘Tis the season of conflicting weather forecasts. Should the weather not cooperate, I will do my best to cancel the hike at least two hours before the start time.

ATTENDEE LIMIT: 14 Hikers per Jefferson County Open Space regulations.

SIGN-UP: Please RSVP yes only if you definitely plan to come. If you change your mind, please update your RSVP. By joining this group you agree to the Policies and Terms of this group.

NO SHOWS: If you No-Show to 2 events, you will be removed and banned from this meetup group. So please change your RSVP to “not going” if you are unable to attend.

COVID-19 PROTOCOL: Do not sign up if you:

MEET: Please arrive early to prepare for hiking and for introductions, as we will start hiking ASAP. The hike begins ASAP at no later than 9:20 am. If you are late, you can catch up with the group.

WHAT TO BRING: Typical gear: water, snacks, jacket, etc.

DISTANCE: 4.2 miles with ~600 ft. elevation gain (Level: Easy). MAP

DOGS: Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Dogs must be leashed. Waste must be picked up and deposited into receptacles.
