Pine Valley Ranch - Buck Gulch Loop!

7.5 miles RT with 1,250' elevation gain.

We're going to give this another try since gale force winds thwarted our last attempt in December.

A pleasant loop hike starting in this beautiful Jeffco Open Space park. This hike has a section of otherworldly landscape due to some past fires. We'll go up Buck Gulch and back down Strawberry Jack. I'm expecting a dryer trail, but pack your traction just in case.

Please bring your pack, layers, fluids, snacks, good footwear, and spikes. Pack for variable late Winter weather and a chilly start.
