The Best of South Dakota

Hey adventurerers,
On this one we'll enjoy the best of South Dakota, with two nights camping in Custer State Park, hikes including a 7-mile loop up the state's highest peak, lake circumnavigations, mountain biking (?)., kayaking? boating?...... If we get enough participants, we'll try to grab a cabin or lodge room for the third night (we gotta hurry; they sell out), but I have reserved the campground for a 3rd night. Campfires on the camp nights.
Warnings:
1). Parts of the park are at 6K feet, so nights will be chilly unless global warming is upon us (oh, wait. duh). Be prepared!
2). The organizer has never been there.
3). I don't know about cell phone coverage. Be prepared to do without.
Costs: Your share of campground fees, plus your share of gas costs if you're a passenger, and any restaurant meals.
Planning meeting: 6 pm THUR APR 30 at my office in downtown Denver. Attendance is required because we'll talk about safety.
