9 miles RT with 2,000' elevation gain.

An enjoyable outing at one of the nicer Jeffco Open Space Parks. The trail is not ever really too steep, yet has a steady gain throughout the hike, and makes for a good, solid workout. We'll be taking breaks throughout with a longer break on the summit before we return on this out-and-back trip. There's a good mix of sun and shade along the route. Our pace usually averages around 2.5 mph.

Please bring your pack, layers, fluids, snacks, and good footwear. Don't forget your sun protection!

After, we can stop by the very close Evergreen Brewery for lunch and refreshments.
