No roots! No rocks! This is the smoothest ride on the Front Range. 16 miles, 400 feet of gain, with lots of dips and doodles. Seriously fun Suitable for anyone with moderate mountain biking skills, or newbies who want to challenge themselves and get to the next level. Ride through cow pasture, dip-and-doddle past scrub oak, climb to pine forest, enjoy the fab views form Windy Point, and then ride dispsy-doodle down and back through a tunnel and across open space. Ride when you can, walk when you have to. Guaranteed to replenish the soul. For those who care, the route is in lime green on MTB Project. Fine dining afterwards at a grub house nearby. Meet at 10 at the Spruce Meadows Trail parking lot off the SW corner of East Noe Road and the railroad tracks, in the Greenland Open Space park 10 miles south of Larkspur and five miles north of Monument Hill.
