Underwater Rugby

Details
Are you interested in spending more time underwater? Then give underwater rugby a try! Underwater Rugby (UWR) is a three-dimensional team sport played in a dive well with two metal baskets for goals at the bottom of the pool. The ball is filled with salt water and may not leave the water. Unlike UWH, players in possession of the ball may be grabbed by opponents or grab other players (in a safe and appropriate manner and let go when no longer in possession of the ball). Come test your strength, speed, agility, breath control and teamwork in a different way underwater!
The first few sessions will be most skills. but we try to do a little scrimmage each time. Please watch this introduction video to help give you an idea of what you are getting yourself into! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tm0DCCrHUmE. Also, if you have them, bring white and dark water polo caps, so you know who your teammates are. For safety and preventing accidental scratches, please trim your fingernails before practice.
