Fort Collins: Foothill Trail & Horsetooth Reservoir Walk

Let’s get outside and enjoy some fresh air together!

We’ll meet at the Sunrise Picnic Area parking lot (upper parking lot, not the lower swim beach parking lot) and head out on the Foothill Trail, with a scenic walk along Horsetooth Reservoir (Sunrise to Rotary Park and back). This is a relaxed group hike, perfect for getting some exercise, meeting new people, and enjoying the views.

What to Bring: Water, good shoes, snacks, and layers for weather
Park Entry Fee: $10 per car (day pass). If you’d like to carpool to save on the entrance fee, leave a comment. I can help coordinate. If you need a pickup, we can meet you at Duncan’s Ridge parking lot on CR-23 (see map in photos).
