🥾 Trail Time | Summer Summit 🌄 is a bi-weekly social hike series focused on staying active, building community, and progressively building endurance through HARD hikes (approximately 2,000–3,000 ft of elevation gain).

Throughout the summer, we'll work our way toward bigger climbs, higher elevations, and even better views, culminating in a season finale on Mt. Bierstadt—a popular first 14er for many Colorado hikers.

Come solo or bring a friend (just include them in your RSVP).

⛰️ Gray Wolf Mountain via South Chicago Creek • 📍 starts at 9,934 ft • 🥾 ~6.2 mi • ↗️ ~2,400 ft gain • 🕒 ~5 hrs

Challenge yourself on the scenic South Chicago Creek Trail as we climb through forest, mountain meadows, and high-alpine terrain to a ~12,300-ft high point with sweeping views of the surrounding peaks. We’ll gain approximately 2,400 ft over 3.1 miles before turning around — taking everyone to 12er-level elevation! 🏔️

OPTIONAL FOR FASTER HIKERS: Feeling strong? Continue to the Gray Wolf Mountain summit (13,610 ft) and turn this into a 13er summit! The full Class 2 route is 8.7 miles / 3,654 ft gain.
