🍻 Breckenridge Oktoberfest | Prost! 🥨🎉

Come join us for some fall festivities at the 30th annual Oktoberfest in Breckinridge this year! In addition to the beautiful Colorado fall foliage, this event features live music, games, polka dancing, traditional German food, and plenty of craft beer of course.

Parking and transportation
Oktoberfest in Breck is a huge annual event and it is expected to be very crowded. Because of this, driving yourself to Breckinridge from Denver on the day of the event is ill advised. Additionally, if you plan on drinking excessively, it is irresponsible to try to drive down the mountain yourself afterward. Carpooling or using public transportation is highly recommended by the event organizers on their website. Please plan ahead and be responsible. For anyone who would like to meet up and carpool, let's plan to meet at the top of the JeffCo Government Center parking garage in Golden and aim to leave around 8:00 am sharp. It may take up to 3 to 3 1/2 hours to drive to A-Basin with all the event related traffic, so we should plan to leave no later than this. Try to show up a little before 8 so we have time to introduce ourselves to each other and figure out carpool arrangements. From there, we will drive to the Summit Stage bus stop in Frisco and take the free shuttle to Breckinridge.

Weather conditions
The mountains are glorious this time of year and we will pray for good weather, but as we all know the weather conditions can change at the drop of a hat up in the high country. Please be prepared and bring extra layers as well as rain gear just in case, as well as sunscreen and comfortable walking shoes.

Beer steins
The official Breckinridge 2026 beer steins are available for pre-purchase on the event website Breckenridge Oktoberfest - Breckenridge, Colorado
They are also available for purchase on the day of the event but are in limited supply. I would recommend pre-ordering one if you want a stein. Admission to the event is free!

All food and beer at the event can be purchased with a credit card only. Cash will not be accepted.

Once we arrive at the event, we will try to stake out an open spot near the main stage, then everyone will be free to disperse and/or mingle however they wish. If you are planning to meet us at the venue rather than carpooling with the main group, then please text me and I can share this location. The event lasts until 6pm, but we can plan to leave a little bit earlier to beat traffic if that is the overall vibe that the group is feeling.
