📞 🎤 Calling all paddle buddies📢 Chatfield State Park Reservoir is open!
Let's take advantage of the warm weather in March. It's going to be 75 degrees next Wednesday!
MUST have a your own vessel, life vest mandatory and Whistle, as it's paddle at your own risk before Memorial day weekend.
Park entrance fee: $10 unless you have the annual pass.
Bring a dry bag, towels, extra socks, possible jacket, sunscreen, sunglasses, beverage, electrolytes, and a snacks for on the water.
Plan to paddle until sunset, if the weather or winds change, I will cancel.
Meet at the King Fisher Parking lot, highlighted in pink on the map.
There is one pit toilet in the parking lot and there is cell signal.

We will explore to the right when you get in the water and head to the channel under the bridge for an out n back, for those stuck in traffic to catch up, before we venture out into the reservoir and make a circle back to the shore, coming back on the left through the tree stumps.
