Barr Lake - Picnic on the water & paddle time

Join me, at Barr Lake State Park to check out another Lake for 1 or 2 loops around exploring the coves on Memorial Day. Plan to have a picnic on the water after the 1st loop, 3ish miles, as we gotta work up our appetites first of course 😉

**$10 entrance fee, if you don't have the CO State Parks on your car registration.

Plan to be on the water by 8:15am, after setup on the shore at 7:45am. It's early to beat any afternoon weather...

Location:
Brighton, CO (approx. 20 miles northeast of Denver)
Size: Spans roughly 1,900+ acres within a 2,715-acre state park
Activities: Popular for fishing (trout, bass, catfish), bird watching (over 350 bird species).

Pack your vessel, life vest, whistle, towels, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, your preferred beverage and snax.

Found out for a friend, that they have rentals available but must reserve online or scan the QR code at the park at the Kiosk station by the boat ramp to check in and out equipment. It is limited quantities available and open sunrise to sunset. Adding pics in the event for those that do not have your own equipment for the prices etc.
