Staunton Figure 8

Come join us for a ride at Staunton State Park! We will meet at the Lazy V Parking Lot at 5:00 pm for a 5:15 departure. Plan on about 11 miles and 1500(ish)ft of climbing. We will do Marmot Pass to the pond, then up West Meadow to Chimney Rock and back for the Figure 8.

Please consider that, due to pace, distance and technical terrain, this is not a beginner ride, it is considered an intermediate ride. You must be in good physical shape and have the technical skills to negotiate rocks, roots and other trail obstacles.
Make sure your bike is in a good working order and you come equipped to handle mid-ride issues like flat tires, etc. Wearing a helmet is required. Bring plenty of water, a tube, rain jacket, pump/CO2 and multi-tool. E-bikes are welcome as long as you know proper rules (including if they are allowed on this trail), etiquette and are comfortable handling any issues with your bike.
