From the museum:

Fiberart International showcases contemporary artworks that explore innovative uses of fiber materials and processes. The juror-selected exhibition, by design, embodies a global perspective and embraces the immense plurality of contemporary art through the accessible and familiar medium of fiber. The work included was chosen by four world-renowned jurors from nearly 1,300 submissions by 545 artists residing in 30 countries. These select works explore unexpected relationships between fiber and other creative disciplines through installations, videos, sculpture, and more.
