What we’re about
For all levels of sewers, sewists, seamstresses, crafters, quilters. We are ALL inclusive! Even knitters can come! We meet once a month in the north area plus we have member get togethers through out the year. We've done the YSL Retrospective, Dior, sewing expos, fabric shop tours and so much more. So, no matter what your skill level is if you like to sew and meet fun people this could be the group for you.
Feel free to come on any scheduled meetup. Many people don't bring a project and just come to visit to see if this is a good fit or not before lugging their projects and equipment in. Whatever you feel comfortable with, just do it! I know how hard joining a new group and meeting new people can be. I may be busy with something, but there are so many nice people who will welcome you in.
We all know how hard it is for some people to get out due to time constraints, family obligations. I personally know how difficult it can be to just get out and meet new folks. (I trend toward Introversion myself!) and really want this to be a warm, encouraging place to be. Some people here have known each other from the beginning and that can be a bit intimidating stepping into for some. But, please know that I will do what I can to encourage easy conversation and an inviting atmosphere. \

Our meetup time is from 6-9.The address is 400 W. 104th Ave - Northglenn, right off of I-25 and 104th ave. (O'mera Ford Dealership)
Go through the lobby back to the elevators. Go up to the 2nd floor and signs will be posted along the way.
The dealership offers conference rooms to non-profits and community groups. This location offers a well-lit room, lots of space, plenty of electrical outlets and the guys have come to anticipate our arrival and have even asked for advice.
If you would like to jump right in with a project please bring your machine and project. If you would just like to introduce yourself, meet other seamstresses, discuss individual goals and our group's plans by all means come with your lovely self and leave the machine at home.
An ironing board and iron will be provided.
