Coffee, Beer, and all things Web

Denver, CO
Hello from John and the Denver Web Tech Meetup, one of Denver's oldest Meetups!

It's the second Thursday of the month, so time for another meetup TONIGHT.  Join us at the beautifully remodeled Hooked on Colfax coffeeshop where you can enjoy some nice tea, no tea, coffee, beer and good conversation with your fellow web heads. We usually meet in the "new" section that's on the East side of the shop at the hightop two-sided bar thing. Look for me. I'm wearing a jacket that's #002add in color or just ask the barista and they can point you in the right direction.

Tonight's theme will be common web technology done a better way. Let's chat about tools and techniques that make our everyday technologies we use to build web sites even better. Two examples that come to mind include jQuery -> JavaScript or SASS or LESS -> CSS.

So stop on by, network, and chat with some of the best front and back -end developers in the city. We look forward to seeing you.

Where is Hooked on Colfax?

It's on Colfax, as you might have guessed, at Colfax... and Steel street. If you're coming from the South, I recommend taking University Blvd. (faster than Colorado which gets jammed up) north to Colfax, make a right. It'll be on the left as you're heading east. If you're coming from the North I'd recommend taking the Colfax exit from I-25 and heading up the eclectic Boulevard East until you hit Steel street.

Park on Steel street or 16th street. Take a glance at the signs posted on the street corners for permitted parking streets.
