Depression Overcome: Peer Support Group
Details
Recovery doesn’t happen in isolation; it happens together. This biweekly peer support meetup is a space for people living with depression to come together, share what they’re dealing with right now, and talk openly about the tools, habits, and strategies they’re using to cope and move forward.
This is a peer-led, non-judgmental support group, not therapy. There’s no pressure to speak, fix, or have answers. Some weeks you may want to share; other weeks you may just want to listen and feel less alone. All experiences are welcome, and honesty is encouraged.
By meeting regularly, we build something powerful: connection, understanding, and momentum. Research shows that social support and shared experience play a meaningful role in recovery from depression and this group exists to make that support real, accessible, and human.
If you’re struggling, healing, or somewhere in between, you don’t have to do it alone. Come sit with us every other Thursday at The Council on Recovery and be part of a community that believes recovery is possible, one conversation at a time.
Parking/Check-in 🅿️🚗
