Join us for a meditative, friendly hike on the Green Trail in Memorial Park.
Spending time in nature is a way to feel connected with an ancestral part of who we are. Movement and fresh air can improve you mood, and sometimes we just need to get started. Attendees should understand this is a this is a walk for mental health in a friendly, non-judgmental space.
Where to Meet:
Meet at the Picnic Loop (free parking) in the SE part of the park. We will meet at the picnic tables near the bathrooms (white building) and walk to the entrance of the trail together.
What to Expect:
The Green Trail is in-and-back, approximately 1.5hr walk on dirt trails. There is some incline and up and down, so consider that when choosing footwear. It will be mostly woodsy and shaded, but sunscreen and bug spray recommended. Also advised to bring water.
In the event of light rain, we do not usually cancel, but will monitor conditions and may adjust the program accordingly.
