Sometimes exploring in our backyard gives us a new perspective and appreciation for the city we call home. The triangle trail is a hidden gem, but almost everyone benefits from a guide their first time. My goal is after our hike, you'll be able to navigate it on your own with confidence.

Disclaimer: Depression Overcome is a mental health focused meetup group. We strive to create a nonjudgmental atmosphere
and ask that our attendees be mindful of the mission.

Be Prepared!
This is a HIKE. There are uneven surfaces, up and down, exposed tree roots, steep inclines, and possible wet or muddy conditions. Highly recommended to wear shoes with tread and long pants (tall grass in some places). If you're debating bringing you trekking poles -> bring em! Also a must: bring water! It's about a 2hr walk in-and-back, the days are getting warmer so stay hydrated!

In the event of rain, the triangle trail is usually inaccessible, and we will instead explore the Arboretum.

Meeting spot: The steps in front of the Cullen Running Trails Center. There are bathrooms at the center.

Parking: The closest parking lot is a paid lot, but you can parallel park for free on the Memorial loop (North side of main road) and walk over. It's a good idea to build in a few extra minutes of walking time to cross the road and get to the center if that's your plan.

We meet at 1:00pm and start walking at 1:10pm. We will walk to the Arboretum and access the trail from the Owl Eyes mural.
