Derry Playhouse Writers' Group weekly meeting

Derry Playhouse Writers group welcomes all writers and would-be writers of any genre. We meet weekly on Wednesdays from 1-3 pm to do writing exercises and to share our work with each other. The group welcomes both experienced and inexperienced writers; we aim to be supportive.

Please bring a pen and paper. You are also welcome to bring short pieces of your own writing to read aloud. This could be the week's optional homework (prompt for 5 Oct: Sad Boys) or anything else. Derry Playhouse is on Artillery Street, within Derry's city walls. Please check at reception which room we are meeting in. We ask participants to contribute two or three £s to pay our rent to the Playhouse, a community arts facility.
