3D Printing Meetup Topic: 3D Printer Maintenance

3D printers are incredible machines which are getting increasingly sophisticated, but they still need help from their human owners to keep them running properly. For our September meetup, we'll dive into 3D printer maintenance! How often is is necessary to lubricate your motion system? Grease or Oil? Do belts really need to be tightened up or replaced after running the printer for a hundred hours? What will keep the machine performing like it's new? Let's talk about it!

Our Print-of-the-Month for our September meetup is "Anything Functional." We hear a lot about how 3D printers are only good at making plastic garbage that sits on a shelf or gets discarded after the novelty wears off. But that couldn't be further from the truth--3D printed parts can be incredibly useful. So bring out your most functional 3D prints and show them off to the group. I guarantee there will be some new ideas that others will want to print for themselves!
