Downloading models from places like Printables, MakerWorld, and others is great, but when you want to design something unique for your own purposes you'll need to use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to do it. But there are lots of different kinds of CAD software, and getting started with any CAD program can be daunting. Fortunately we have Nate Gordon to guest host our February meetup. Nate will be guiding the discussion about how to get started designing models in CAD. This is always an interesting topic, especially with a new guest host taking us through it!

We've also decided to print "tessellations" for our Print of the Month! To ensure that they all fit together into one big pattern we'll all need to ensure we're printing the same model at the same scale. So download the model on this site here: https://aperiodicmonotile.oddname.space/ and print out as many as you can for our meetup!
