Des Moines Art Academy

Join us for a morning of architectural drawing at the State Historical Museum of Iowa! Please bring tidy supplies and lap easels to prevent leaving messes and blocking pathways. We will meet beside the woolly mammoth by the front entrance at 9am and spread out from there. If you come late, look up our social media profiles to find out where we are. Enjoy an evening of costumed figure drawing with the Des Moines Art Academy! No instruction will be provided at this event, 18+ only. Follow the DMAA signs and go through the basement entrance door at the lower side of the building. Supplies will be available for purchase at the event, or you may bring your own. There will be a small fee of $15 to cover the building and model expenses.

Please bring tidy drawing supplies and refrain from using standing easels so we do not leave messes or block pathways.
