This month, we are pleased to welcome very special guest, Steve Lee!
Steve, originally from Iowa, comes to us strait from Silicon Valley, where he spent nearly a decade at Google. During his time at Google, Steve led the teams that took Google Maps from 0 to 1B users, making it the #1 mobile app in the world. Steve also played major leadership roles in the Google X and Google Glass projects.
Since his departure from Google in 2015, Steve has been an active member of the Angel investing community, with successful exits from companies such as Guild, Memry, and Kamcord. He continues to look for investment opportunities, while launching a new Bitcoin initiative, Bitcoin Optech.
Bitcoin Optech is a group of developers, venture capitalist, and businesses that are dedicated to bringing state of the art innovation to Bitcoin by lowering costs and improving customer experience. The group does not exist for profit, and will release all materials and documentation to the community.
