Breathwork is a purely experiential thing that's different for everybody and different every time you do it, so it's impossible to describe but one thing is guaranteed and that is that you will feel completely different than how you felt when you came in. It's undeniable.

The process: The breathwork process itself is very simple: it combines connected, circular breathing with music in a relaxed setting culminating to a crescendo with a vibrational gong. With the eyes closed and lying on a mat, each person uses their own breath and the music in the room to enter a non-ordinary state of consciousness. The consciousness and inner awareness brought forth is unique to each person and for that particular time and place; and while recurring themes are common, no two sessions are ever alike.

Bring a mat and/or blanket. It's suggested you don't eat for a few hours before class. Dress warm in layers - Some get cold and some get hot during breathwork.

Breathwork is a powerful technique for exploration, discovery, healing, and personal growth. Working with the breath enables you to take better care of yourself and release beliefs and patterns that no longer serve you. Most people leave breathwork sessions feeling clearer, calmer, more content and relaxed. You’ll breathe to a curated playlist to enhance the experience and help you focus. After a few minutes of breathing, you may feel a tingly sensation of energy vibrating through your body, moving the stuck energy in your system. Many people report having profound experiences. Your experience will be unique to you and your path. Breathwork is different for everyone and different every time you do it.

Breathwork can result in intense physical and emotional release. Therefore, it is not advised for persons with a history of cardiovascular disease, including angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, significant recent physical injuries or surgery.

Breathwork is not advised for persons with severe mental illness or seizure disorders or for persons using major medications. It is also unsuitable for anyone with a personal or family history of aneurysms. Pregnant women are advised against practicing Breathwork without first consulting and getting approval from their primary care physician. Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their primary care physician and the Breathwork class facilitator.
