Hi everyone! Join us for the Des Moines Hashicorp User Group Event scheduled for May 17 from 4-6pm @ the Hall. The Hall is located at 111 South 11th Street West Des Moines IA. We have an exciting lineup of speakers, drink tickets, swag give aways and of course those coveted Hashicorp stickers. This is also an excellent opportunity to meet with fellow Hashicorp users and network with your peers. Hashicorp’s Vault is API driven and dynamically integrates with cloud infrastructure and applications. It’s an essential building block for modern stacks. John Mickey will share how he’s engineered making it highly available on Kubernetes in AWS. The end results – Vault initialization requires one line of code (everything else is done via Terraform), avoids custom code or one-offs, and ensures a predictable and repeatable process.
5:10-5:50 - Building a Terraform OnRamp to Azure DevOps & Azure
Patrick Korte, Trility Consulting Senior Cloud Engineer
Learn how to provide the necessary resources to deploy solutions from Azure DevOps to Azure securely and consistently – eliminating hours of setup and troubleshooting time per app/service provisioned. Patrick Korte will demo an onramp solution leveraging HashiCorp’s Terraform and utilizing Microsoft Azuredevops, Hashicorp Azuread, and Azurerm providers.
