Join Runaway Twain improv group – Michael LaDell Harris, Chris Huling, & Friends – for an evening of laughter!

Runaway Twain and Friends is a long-form improv show performed monthly in The Playhouse’s Theatre-in-the-Ground.

The show consists of an improv performance by the rotating monthly guests and a long-form improv set by Runaway Twain.
September’s featured friends is Chowdown!

CHOWDOWN has been performing live improv comedy in Des Moines since 2014, featuring Onnalee, Damon Pfaff, Medina Stavarz, Tim Overton, Jen Kuhle, and Dan Logan.

Runaway Twain is a local improv group that started in 2024. It spawned from the successful Des Moines improv group Kitten Bomb Comedy, which has performed all around town since 2016.
Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door.
