This is a new mediterranean restaurant in West Des Moines that has been getting some great reviews. Their website isn't up and running, so am attaching some "food reviews".
- Another vote for Mo’z Mediterranean Grill. The staff were so friendly, the restaurant is soooo cute, we loved the decorations. The food is delicious and definitely beats out the other Mediterranean options in the area.
- Had take out lunch from Mo’z Mediterranean Grill in West Des Moines. I had the Mo’z Box and it was delicious. The sauce was so yummy. I would highly recommend! Yes, that is a bite out of one the wraps. I couldn’t wait because it smelled so good.
- Found ourselves on a hot date in Des Moines on Friday to do fun things like finalize our wills and get groceries.
We were planning on tacos, but happened to drive by Mo’z Mediterranean Grill. Because we have a rule to never turn down falafel, we had to stop in.
We were very pleasantly surprised! The menu is not huge, but has great offerings. I had a salad with falafel. It was really good. The falafel was fresh and had great flavor. My husband had a gyro sandwhich and fries. He said it was good.
The building is beautifully decorated and clean. They were playing good music. The woman who took our order and brought the food was delightful. They also have a great little store that has a nice selection of middle eastern food, ingredients and spices. I was pleasantly surprised to find some things I have been looking for and their prices are good. They also sell fresh naan and pita.
We were super happy to find this place and definitely will be back.
Mo'z Mediterranean Grill - Had a falafel wrap at Mo'z Mediterranean Grill today it was delicious! Almost the best in town-Open Sesame is my favorite.
- Mo’z Mediterranean Grill at 60th and Ashworth in West Des Moines - had the (huge) Combination Plate (Falafel, Chicken Shawarma, Kabab, Rice, and Salad) and the Gyro Sandwich. Service was very pleasant and the food was good. Too bad that they barely had any other customers during Sunday lunch time. Restaurant area was clean and neatly organized and the market had basic ethnic items for sale. The market used to be a lot bigger years ago.
- Mo'z Mediterranean Grill (WDSM): Amazing Mediterranean food! We didn’t take pictures of the gyro because we ate it so fast. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma 10/10 & the Beef & Lamb Gyro 10/10.
- Went to Mo'z Mediterranean Grill last night on 60th and Ashworth. Got the Mo’z box (chicken shawarma, fries, toum) - it was amazing. The chicken was perfectly cooked & seasoned. The fries were amazing. The toum was just like I remembered it. Definitely a hidden gem! Highly recommend!
They also have a small area where you can buy groceries - that’s how I originally found it (looking for a specific type of cheese I found in Lebanon) - If you have not been to Mo'z Mediterranean Grill on 60th and Ashworth in West Des Moines yet, you must check it out! I had the veggie combo (pictured below) and cannot say enough about it! You will not be disappointed!!!!
- Just want to give this little gem in West Des Moines its flowers. Had the pleasure of eating at Mo’z Grill, a family owned restaurant, and was so pleased with the food that I’ve been going back regularly to try multiple menu items. The food is so authentic, I felt as though I was sitting in a Mediterranean village while eating. Their decor was a bonus and I could tell they really put in time and effort to make everyone feel right at home. The staff were all friendly and helpful as well! 10/10 Definitely recommend if you haven’t had it yet! Mo'z Mediterranean Grill
