Opened in the winter of 2024, Guesthouse Tavern + Oyster was created to provide our community with a warm, cozy space to gather with friends and loved ones and enjoy a meal and a cocktail. Our space celebrates hospitality and comfort — a place that feels familiar yet fresh, like a trip up to the Northwoods.

We’re proud to serve the freshest seafood available — oysters, lobster, trout, and walleye to name a few. Flown in multiple times a week to ensure every plate delivers the clean, vibrant flavors of the coast.

Chef Derek Eidson’s menu pays homage to classic Midwestern supper club fare while introducing inspired, modern twists. Enjoy Hand-Cut Steaks, Trout Almandine, Beef Short Rib, and Walleye, or explore creative new favorites like our signature Lobster Roll, a Northwoods Hot, Guesthouse Burger, Fried Bologna, Chargrilled Oysters, and elevated comfort dishes that balance tradition with innovation.
