Tuesday Morning Book Club: Call of the Wild & White Fang by Jack London

Read Call of the Wild AND White Fang, both by Jack London, and then come discuss it with us at the Des Plaines Public Library.

Call Of The Wild is the story of Buck, a dog stolen from his home and thrust into the merciless life of the Arctic north to endure hardship, bitter cold, and the savage lawlessness of man and beast. White Fang is the adventure of an animal -- part dog, part wolf -- turned vicious by cruel abuse, then transformed by the patience and affection of one man.

Copies of these books are available at the Readers Services desk on the 3rd floor of the library. Registration required. The book club will meet in the the Commons on the third floor of the Des Plaines Public Library @ 10:00am on July 8th.
