Artist Talk: Exhibition Walkthrough & Activity 🌟
Following a very lovely gathering on 3/28, Tomas will host today and tomorrow's Artist's Talks prior to the take down of the exhibition on 3/31.

During this event, Tomas will share the personal stories and visual metaphors inspiring his collection of paintings designed to support self confidence and pursuing our dreams.

This artist talk will be hosted in English.

🦋 About the Host & Artist: Tomas Castro
Tomas is an award-winning artist, speaker, and designer.
He founded Desde Amor to use art and storytelling to help people build the life they love.

Raised with a culture of perfectionism, competition, self-criticism, and ego-centric masculinity in Los Angeles, Tomas learned firsthand the personal costs of such pressures.

Over 15 years, he explored guidance from books, videos, events, therapy, and more—some helpful, some harmful—but each step deepened his understanding of himself, his community, and life. Through this journey, he overcame personal challenges and realized many of his dreams.

Across his journey he recognized a wide variety of
people living as he once did, while constantly seeking to
build a life they love, but held back. He saw that if we were all to arrive at the life we love
while also loving one another even more, our
communities could thrive together.

This inspired him to begin providing coaching support
to help people build the life we love on the topics of Confidence, Relationships, and Dreams -- with Workshops, Speaking, Coaching, and Art Installations
