11 am KSU - Ride to Breakers Saloon and Back
Details
We'll ride a non highway route to Breakers (near Oregon, IL and have lunch there) and work our way back home.
Please note that in the interest of time (on the way back), we may elect to jump on the highway or tollway. IPass/EZPass makes it easier to pay for tolls. Therefore, be prepared to ride solo home as we get near the burbs as we will not end where we started. Either way, you should feel comfortable at matching traffic speeds and overtaking when necessary.
Expect to ride about 180 miles total.
We'll depart from Culver's/BP gas station in Hoffman Estates (Corner of Sutton which is rte. 59 and near I-90) around 11 AM so arrive no later than 10:45 AM.
Easy to get dehydrated even in this weather so bring fluids.
If it's April or May, chances are that it's cold so wear layers.
