Design for Planet #1

A meetup focused on design and the climate emergency.

A monthly event while our flagship Festival is once a year (the next one is Nov 8-9 2022 in Newcastle).

3 speakers from a wide variety of approaches will speak for 10 minutes each (followed by 10 minutes of Q&A) and we'll mingle until 9pm where we'll move to a pub nearby. A Zoom link will be provided for those unable to join in person. Drinks (alcoholic and non) and veggie/vegan nibbles provided.

About our host:
Takram is a design innovation studio based in Tokyo, London, NY and Shanghai. Specialising in futures research, interaction design and digital prototyping, their London studio is a small research and design practice that builds tools to engage with futures.

Accessibility:
The location is up a flight of stairs and not wheelchair accessible.
Capacity is capped at 25 due to the space available.
