CONFIRMED TALKS

Andrew Maier will share his recent work recruiting for generative design research. He’ll cover recruiting’s inherent challenges: how to decide on a target audience, outline a recruiting strategy, and use form and phone screeners. Andrew is a design research consultant at User Friendliest. He helps teams understand user needs, and kickstart and operationalize their design research practice.

Jennifer S will share lessons from her having recently attended Indi Young’s Listening Deeply course, including: learning to evaluate the ways we already listen, what to listen for, how to develop rapport and trust, ways to seek depth, and techniques for dealing with difficult participants. Jennifer is a freelance consultant committed to collaborating with mission driven organizations to integrate human perspective.
