Design Research Melbourne 26 - What if anthropology isn't just about humans?

Details
Hello Design Researchers!
We hope you're all doing well.
This month, we're excited to be diving into the practices of anthropology and ethnography as they relate to UX Research.
Anthropology's and, by extension, Ethnography's traditional focus has been on the question, "What does it mean to be human?" However, imagine if humans were not always the primary focus of our work. To address global challenges and drive systemic change, we need to shift not only the inputs but also our perspective.
