This month, we're diving into all things futures with Senior Strategic Designer Ying Wang.
It’s near impossible to predict a singular future - but what we can do is anticipate a range of possible scenarios to better prepare for change.
In a world brimming with wicked problems, it’s become more important than ever as designers and researchers to consider the second, third and fourth order impacts of our decisions.
In this session, we'll cover strategic foresight fundamentals before putting theory into practice by taking part in an interactive science fiction prototyping activity.

Ying is a Senior Strategic Designer shaping new digital health ventures with Bupa APAC. She is curious about all things at the intersection between humans, technology and the future - leading her to work across a diverse range of new ventures and innovation projects at organisations including REA Group, Coles Group, Monash University and Australia Post. Ying’s design practice emphasizes systems thinking, curiosity and storytelling - with the ultimate goal of provoking change to better the everyday lives of humans.
