Details
Carlos Oliveira and Gillian Lee join us next week to share their experience running a cross-functional and diverse design sprint. They'll share techniques they used to overcome common pitfalls when running a remote design sprint.
In this 90-minute virtual meetup, you'll come away with:
- a high-level understanding of the design sprint process
- how to translate the design sprint to a remote setting
- awareness of common pitfalls in remote design sprints
- techniques to address common pitfalls in your next remote design sprint
About this Meetup:
The intent of this workshop is to empower novice and experienced design sprint facilitators with techniques and knowledge on how to de-risk common pitfalls in a high-stakes and high-pressure endeavour when remote. We designed the workshop to blend approaches that include a case study, practical examples, and streamlined activities.
The design sprint process brings together a diverse and cross-functional team to problem solve and ideate in rapid iterations. It’s a well-structured process that provides guidance on how to facilitate the divergence, convergence, and emergence of ideas through different activities.
But what happens when the prescribed structure is translated into a remote experience? How might we achieve similar or better results to the in-person experience?
This workshop will show you how to overcome common pitfalls you might experience when running a remote design sprint where the stakes are high, there is lots of uncertainty, and time is limited.
