• What we'll do
Hi all, we are co-hosting this great event, join in!
BUT, REMEMBER TO BUY YOUR TICKET ON THE WEBSITE BELOW!

Join Driving Design and kick off the new design year in style on January 18. 2018. This year we'll dive into new technology and explore how it might help us design better. We'll Sprint through everything from AI to Neuroscience and more.

The designer is brilliant at using new technology to create new amazing products and services. But how might we use this new technology ourselves as a tool in the design process. Can AI become the next designer on your team - and will it be a valuable partner? How might we use Big Data, sensors and analysis to update our products over time and learn about new behaviours? How do we think Circularly from the very start? And how are new production technology, both hardware and software, challenging our imagination and cognitive competencies - is our brain good enough - does it need some help?

This year we are lucky to have a bunch of world class speakers:

  • Danil Nagy, Principal Research Scientist at Autodesk, will give us a glimpse of his work with advanced computational design, the ideas behind, and the dreams for the future. How will AI help us create spectacular geometries. - Jacob Lyngbye, CEO at Sentia, will talk about their use of AI and Big Data for city planning and for creating feedback loops to products and services. - Balder Onarheim, Founder of PlatoScience and Associate Professor of Creativity at DTU, will talk about his research and introduce his new amazing neurostimulation device, the PlatoWork. - Ditte Lysgaard Vind, Managing partner at The Circular Way by Lendager Group, will talk about why circular design engagements needs to be started with a much broader scope and frame, than earlier - and of course we’ll get the how too. Meanwhile, Marc Emil Domar, CEO of Sprint.Agency will give us a deep introduction to the “sprint” method and guide us through with a brilliant quick sprint workshop.
We are really looking forward to a great day with lots of new insights, new ideas, and networking with all you great people. We hope this will kick-off 2018 as a another well-designed year. The conference will be held in english. Looking forward to seeing you!
