In our rapidly changing world, real human connections are becoming of more importance. Developing empathy is therefore crucial. It helps you in your personal life to get more out of the contact with the people around you. It is also beneficial in your professional life, where it helps you to discover the needs of your clients and colleagues. After all, they are the people for whom you do it.

The workshop Building Empathy consists of two parts. Part one is where you will work on yourself (and perhaps your Start-up weekend team). We will focus on the mindset, the basics of empathy. In part two you will apply the newly gained insights and knowledge. You will learn how to have very good conversations and conduct interviews. For example, learning to create a safe setting within a conversation and asking the right questions.
