ClujHub Connects Ep.1 Coworking and Communities

ClujHub Connects is a new event series which will explore topics on coworking, life as a freelancer and entrepreneur, topics you feel are important or pressing to discuss in this context, topics with local and global relevance.

Your child asks for biscuits or your neighbour starts a solo concert with the hammer drill or the cat wants attention exactly when you turn on the camera - we’ve all been and still are going through these kinds of episodes...and it is ok. With ClujHub Connect we will go through them together, explore various subjects with our guests, connect with people who are going through similar challenges as us - think of it as a virtual coworking space for one hour.

As many of us are working remotely for some time, you definitely miss human connexions, socializing or to diversify the information you work with on a daily basis. So once every two weeks, ClujHub Connects wants to meet some of these needs, especially if you are a freelancer, entrepreneur, techie or creative.

See you at our first virtual meeting, on November 24th, at 17.00 with Pauline Roussel (Co-founder and CEO of Coworkies) - passionate about building communities and bringing people together, and our colleague Tudor Pasc, managing partner at ClujHub. We will explore, the topic of coworking in general, but especially the challenge we all face nowadays in maintaining communities and bringing people together in these uncertain times.

About Pauline:
After graduating from a French business school, Pauline has worked for 5 years in communication agencies in Paris and Berlin. In 2014, she started a new role “Chief Happiness Officer” in a Berlin coworking space which has led her to, later on, co-found Coworkies. Pauline has a passion for community building and bringing people together. Aside from Coworkies, she also co-initiated Berlin Startup Slack and The Community of Community Managers

Prin ClujHub Connects vom explora diferite subiecte legate de coworking, viața de freelancer și antreprenor, teme pe care tu le simți presante în contextul dat, subiecte cu relevanță locală dar și globală.

Copilul cere biscuiți sau vecinul începe concertul solo de bormașină sau pisica vrea atenție exact când pornești camera web - cu toții am trecut și încă trecem prin aceste episoade...și e ok. Prin ClujHub Connect trecem împreună prin ele, explorăm subiecte variate cu invitații, ne conectăm cu oameni care trec prin aceleași provocări ca noi - ca un coworking space virtual pentru o oră.

Cum majoritatea dintre noi lucrăm de acasă de multă vreme, cu siguranță simți lipsa de conexiune umană, de socializare, de diversificare a informației cu care lucrezi zilnic. Așa că o dată la două săptămâni, ClujHub Connects vrea să-ți atingă o parte dintre aceste nevoi, mai ales dacă ești freelancer, antreprenor, techie or creative.
